Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, the long-awaited successor to Pathfinder: Kingmaker, is now available for PC from Owlcat Games and Meta Publishing. The sequel to the successful Pathfinder: Kingmaker, which sold one million copies worldwide, is an epic new RPG faithful to what was previously shown in the first game.

Announced through a Kickstarter campaign in February 2020, the game was released for Microsoft Windows and macOS on 2 September 2021 with versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One arriving towards the end of 2022.
Should I Play Pathfinder: Kingmaker First?
You don't need to play Kingmaker first since it's not a direct sequel, however considering the bugs in Wrath it's not a bad idea to play the older game first, by the time you're done Wrath should be in much better shape and potentially have some DLC available.
