A statement from Microsoft reveals that the company discontinued Xbox One consoles in 2020, and its nextgen platforms are reaping the benefits. The reason given for this is that Microsoft wanted to shift its focus to nextgen Xbox consoles. The Xbox Series X and S are Microsofts entries to the new console generation.

Why are they Discontinuing Xbox One?
As reported by The Verge, Microsoft has stated that it stopped producing Xbox One consoles at the end of 2020 in order to focus its efforts on its new generation of consoles. “To focus on production of Xbox Series X / S, we stopped production for all Xbox One consoles by the end of 2020,” a statement reads.
