If I no longer want Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, can I go back to Xbox Live Gold, EA Play, Xbox Game Pass for Console or PC Game Pass? Yes, you can return to your prior subscription by cancelling Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and repurchasing your prior subscription.
How do I Switch from Ultimate to Gold Subscription?
Click the Service and subscriptions tab. Under the “ Xbox Live Gold” section, click the Manage link. Under the “Payment settings: section, click the “Upgrade or cancel subscription for Xbox Live Gold” dropdown menu and select the Upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate option.
