How do I Allow a Program through Avast Firewall?
Open Avast Antivirus and go to Protection ▸ Firewall.
Click Settings the gear icon in the topright corner of the screen.
Click View Firewall rules.
Select the Application rules tab.

Open Avast.
Click the Menu in the topright corner of the app and select the Settings from the dropdown list.
In the General tab, select the Blocked & Allowed apps section and click the Allow App button.
