How do you Open the Ps4 Hard Drive Slot?
Slide off the shiny section to the left, as you look at the console. The hard drive is right there, in a fairly normallooking caddy. There is one screw with the iconic PlayStation button symbols — unscrew it. Slide the drive caddy out, unscrew the screws holding the drive in, and then carefully pop the drive out.
How do you Remove a Hard Drive Lid?
Find all of the screws.
Using your torx screwdriver unscrew and remove all of the screws you can find.
Locate the sealing strip around the edge of the cover.
Remove the cover and throw it away.
You should now see the inside of your hard drive.
