When it was announced three years ago that Viscerals single player Star Wars game was cancelled and the studio was to be closed, a lot of fans were disappointed with EAs apparent shift away from single player Star Wars games.

EA reassigned the Star Wars game to its EA Worldwide Studios, led by EA Vancouver, and said they will revamp the gameplay. The closure of Visceral was seen as a sign of the waning interest in publishers in making games that are strictly single player, as many of Viscerals games had been.
