Bottom line: Amnesia: Collection brings together one of the best horror games ever made with its two sequels in one complete package that you can take on the go. However, wonky controls and the lack of mod support keep this from being a mustbuy, even for horror fans.
What is the Amnesia Story?
Amnesia is an explorationbased survivalhorror adventure game played from a firstperson perspective. The player takes control of the amnesiac Daniel, as he regains consciousness in Brennenburg Castle deep in the Prussian woods, with no memory of where he is or what hes doing there.
What was Amnesia Inspired By?
At the center of Amnesias success is Thomas Grip, the original games designer and cofounder of Frictional Games. Den of Geek spoke to Grip in 2018 about the making of Amnesia: The Dark Descent . He revealed to us that trying to overcome his fear of heights and roller coasters was an inspiration when making the game.
Is Amnesia a Difficult Game?
