In Metal Gear Solid V, Venom Snake is portrayed by Canadian actor Kiefer Sutherland through voiceover and facial motion capture, briefly as the medic in Ground Zeroes and then as the player character throughout The Phantom Pain.
Why did they Change the Voice Actor for Snake?
It was revealed that Kiefer Sutherland would take over the role from David Hayter. Fans assumed that this was a fakeout on the part of Hideo Kojima , but once the game was released, it was Sutherlands voice heard throughout the game. Hayter explained Snakes voice change in an interview with Game Informer.
