Will Othercide have DLC?
Developer Lightbulb Crew and publisher Focus Entertainment have announced that their tactical RPG, Othercide, has received a free update and premium DLC content. The free update, titled “Beauty Will Remain,” fixes numerous bugs and adds the ability to alter the appearance of Daughters' cosmetics.
Is Othercide Good Reddit?
It's more a proof-of-concept than anything, but it's smart and entertaining while it lasts. Othercide could use some quality-of-life improvements, but this is one of the most stylish games I've played in years, complete with oppressive gameplay that is as thrilling as it is rewarding.
Does Othercide have a Good Story?
The writing is actually good and there's a lot of details there about the long history of the Mother growing up and the characters that are important to her. Again you can miss all this if you just plow through the missions but if you take time to read the lore you pick up, it IS there and satisfying.
Is Othercide a Roguelike?
T.J Hafer from IGN awarded the game a 9/10, praising its combat and difficulty. He concluded his review by saying that " Othercide is a tactical roguelike with a flair for the dramatic, full of satisfying combat, careful planning, and sometimes heart-rending decisions".
