After 13 years, Fallout 3 has finally removed Microsofts reviled and broken Games For Windows Live service from the Steam release. Hooray! FO3 is still busted because Bethesda havent updated the game to run happily on modern Windows, but Ill take any opportunity to dance on GFWLs grave.

This game was the main reason I wanted to build a Windows XP machine after fighting a losing battle to get the Steam release working, but with GOGs release, it runs on Windows 8.1 Pro with no issues at all.
