Should I Overclock 10900K?
Intel's Core i9 10900K is a powerful 10-core, 20-thread processor and does need adequate cooling, especially if you want a meaningful overclock.
How Much can you Overclock a 10900K?
After some tweaking in the BIOS, I was able to overclock the Intel Core i9-10900K from a default of 3.7GHz to a whopping 5.4Ghz. That's an extra 1.7GHz overclock … excellent.
Can you Overclock on Z490?
In our overclock testing, the GIGABYTE Z490 Aorus Master performed very well, with very tight VDroop control throughout with the default load-line calibration settings.
