While its release time hasnt been officially confirmed yet, its highly likely the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack will go live on Monday, October 25 at 7 p.m. Eastern.
What Time do Switch Pre Orders Go Live?
The game will be pre-loaded to your system at the time of your order. You'll be able to start playing it after downloading a small update, beginning at 12:00 AM ET on the game's release date. (Please note that some third-party titles are not available until 12:00 PM PT on the game's release date.)
Do Switch Games Release at Midnight?
Games will generally be available at midnight Eastern Time. Youll see an icon for the game on your HOME menu, but you will not be able to launch the game until it is officially released.
Is Switch Online Expansion out Yet?
Update 10/15/21 Nintendo has confirmed that the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack will officially launch on October 25, 2021. Additionally, the new Switch versions of the Nintendo 64 and SEGA Genesis controllers are now available for preorder for those who have a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
What Time is the New Nintendo Direct?
Nintendo has confirmed it will broadcast a new Nintendo Direct on Wednesday, February 9. The 40minute live stream will begin at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm BST and focus on Nintendo Switch games launching in the first half of 2022.
