How do I Gain Access to Nintendo EShop?
You can gain access to Nintendo eShop by performing a System Update after June 7th, 2011. To do this, your Nintendo 3DS system needs to be connected to the Internet. For more information about System Updates on your Nintendo 3DS system, please click here.

The eShop will remain online until further notice, but Nintendo has announced that payments through credit cards and other electronic payments will no longer be accepted on the system itself as of January 22, 2022. This will allow 3DS owners to continue to browse and purchase games on the eShop.

Click Nintendo eShop on the 3DS's bottom screen.
Find a game to download in the Nintendo eShop.
