How do I Format my SD Card for my 3DS?
Press Windows + X to enter the Windows Disk Management interface.
Rightclick the SD card and choose Format.
Open File Explorer, rightclick the 3DS SD card on the popmenu and choose Format.
Choose the FAT32 as your file system.
Does any SD Card Work with 3DS?
Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3 DS XL and Nintendo 2DS systems work with SD Cards up to 2 GB in memory, and SDHC cards from 4 GB to 32 GB. You can use the SD Card included with your Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL or Nintendo 2DS system, or the following Nintendoauthorised SDHC Cards: 8 GB [RVL037] or 16 GB [RVL038].
Can 3DS Read ExFAT?
