How to Use DS Download Play
On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the DS Download Play icon. Select the title of the game you wish to download, then select Yes to begin downloading. The game downloaded from the host system will remain until the system is turned off.
Is the DSi EShop Still Open?
Important: As of April 1, 2017, the Nintendo DSi Shop is closed for new purchases. It is no longer possible to add Nintendo DSi Points or purchase new games in the Nintendo DSi Shop. The Points could be used to purchase digital DSiWare titles and download them directly to your Nintendo DSi system.
How do you Buy Games on DSi?
Turn on your Nintendo DSi.
On the bottom menu, select the Nintendo DSi Shop icon.
Wait for the DSi Shop to connect.
Once youre connected, you can see which apps and games are being showcased on the DSi Shop under Recommended Titles.
From here, you can add Nintendo DSi Points to your account if youd like.
Can you Still Download Games for DSi?
Can I still purchase Nintendo DSiWare? No. Now that the Nintendo DSi Shop has closed, this is no longer possible; however, most DSiWare is available to purchase through the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS family systems.
