How Long Does the Nintendo 3DS Battery Last?
It takes about three and a half hours for the Nintendo 3DS to charge fully — less if the battery isn't run all the way down. It'll take a little longer if you continue to use the 3DS while it's charging. Just plug the charger directly into the 3DS and keep playing.
How do you Know when 3DS is Fully Charged?
Blue: The system is charged and has power.
Blue pulsing: The system is in Sleep Mode .
Red: The system battery power is low.
Red flashing: The system battery power is very low.
When charging, an orange Recharge LED will be lit next to the Power LED.

Yes. Your system can be played while it is charging.
Is it Okay to Charge 3DS Overnight?
