And enter a name–can be any name.
Enter the address.
Enter port number.
Tap Add server.
Why Can't I Connect to my Friends Minecraft World Pocket Edition?
You must be connected to the same network to play together, unless you use a thirdparty app. Theres a thirdparty app called Multiplayer for Minecraft PE that allows you to host a server and connect to other networks. Its definitely available for iOS, but Im not sure about Android or other app stores.
How do you Play with Friends Far Away on Minecraft PE?
It's in the upper-right corner of the pause screen. Tap the name of each friend you wish to invite. You may invite up to four people (not including yourself). If you don't have friends yet, you can tap Add Friend in the bottom-left corner of the screen to add people's gamertags to your profile.
