What is the Mac Equivalent of the Windows Start Menu?
Thank goodness MacOS does not have a start menu. The start menu is in the Windows rather pretentiously named Task Bar, which the Mac nicely calls the Dock. Even the words task bar suggest that this is a machine to make you work – here are the possible tasks you should do at work today, do them.
Where is the Start Menu on Mac Computer?
In the Dock at the bottom of the screen is an icon for System Preferences looks like gears. Click on it to open it. In that window is an icon for Accessinility.
How do I Get to the Start Menu?
On the left end of the taskbar, select the Start icon.
Press the Windows logo key on your keyboard.
Where is the Start Button on a MacBook Air?
Look for the unmarked black square Touch ID/power button above the delete key .
On older MacBooks youll see the power icon on the top right key.

Where is the Power Button on IMacs?
When looking at the front of your iMac, put your finger on the left hand backside of your computer.
The power button is located roughly 2-inches in from the far left hand side and 2-inches up from the bottom edge.
