Does Macworld Magazine Still Exist?
Macworld was founded by David Bunnell (publisher) and Andrew Fluegelman (editor). It was the oldest Macintosh magazine still in publication, until September 10, 2014, when IDG, its parent company, announced it was discontinuing the print edition and laid off most of the staff, while continuing an online version.
When was Macworld Last?
The last Macworld was in March 2014. By the mid-2000s, more than 50,000 people attended the event — enough to fill Stanford's football stadium— and on Jan. 9, 2007, Jobs made history at Macworld in San Francisco, unveiling the first iPhone.
