How to Set Up Apple AirPort Express
Plug the Airport Express into a power outlet and launch AirPort Utility.
Highlight Airport Express in the left panel and complete the fields, including Name and Password. Select Continue.
Choose a network option and select Continue. Choose the network you want to use and select Continue.
How do I Setup my New AirPort Express?
Plug the AirPort Express into the wall and wait until it boots up.
Go into your Wi-Fi settings on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac and join the new AirPort network.
Click on the Other Options button.
Select “Add to an existing network.”
Can't See AirPort Express in AirPort Utility?
If you can't find Airport Express in Airport Utility, press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds on the Airport Express, then release the button. Once the device restarts, restart your Mac as well and check if the Airport Base Station not found issue is resolved.
Can't Connect AirPort Express to Wireless Network?
Unplug the AirPort Express.
Disable the WiFi on the Mini.
In Network Preferences, set Ethernet as the default connection using DHCP.
Connect the Mini to the LAN port for the AirPortExpress.
Plug-in the AirportExpress.
