How do I Get my HP Envy 4520 to Scan?
Click on the printer Icon on your desktop and it will bring up the HP Printer Assistant.
Under the Scan menu, there is a “Manage Scan to Computer”, click on that.
Make sure that you “Enable” Scan to Computer.
How do I Get my Mac to Recognize my HP Scanner?
Download and install the HP Easy Scan app in English from the App Store . If the app does not automatically open, search the Mac for scan, then click HP Easy Scan in the list of results. Place the document or photo printed side down on the scanner glass, then close the scanner lid.
