Connect the USB flash drive to your Mac.
Go to Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility.
Find your USB drive where its listed in the lefthand panel and select it.
Click Partition in the Disk Utility toolbar.
Drag the handle on the pie chart to adjust the size of your new partition from the available space.
