|
When a renegade
Viking warrior threatens to destroy the
Rune-
stones, thereby freeing the evil god
Loki from his subterranean
prison and prematurely
unleashing Ragnarok (the end of the world),
a
group of noble warriors vows to stop him.
Unfortunately, they are
all destroyed
save one: the young fighter Ragnar, who
is charged
by Odin to defend the world.

|
Ragnar must charge ahead,
defeating rogue Viking warriors and mythical
creatures
with a large array of Nordic weaponry. He'll
acquire axes, swords, hammers, and shields
along the way, and he can use these items
to invoke special powers by finding magical
runes. Other runes restore his health, or
enable him to enter a Viking berserker rage,
giving his already formidable attack power
an extra fierceness.
