In Fortnite, access the Main Menu. Then, go to Settings >> Speaker icon. Turn Voice Chat from ON to OFF.
What does Console only Voice Chat Mean?
When you join lobbies, and if get a random paired with you. This message will come up as they will not be able to hear you in game chat . There is no setting that is set wrong. It simply a message stating game chat wont hear you due to you have a party chat open.
How do I Turn on Voice Chat on Fortnite?
Launch Fortnite and navigate to the game Settings by clicking the plus icon from the menu.
Click the speaker icon at the upper part of your screen.
Shift the toggle next to “Voice Chat” to the “On” position.
